First of all I wanted to let you all know I have raised all my support. At first I thought this is a lot of money to raise in such a short time. But, I knew if God wanted me to go to Africa He would provide the money for me.  All of my money came in 3 and a half weeks.  I have to say it has been amazing to see God's hand on all of this. I didn't have a computer and really needed one to take on my trip. I prayed about what to do, since it was a lot of money to spend (that I didn't have). I was given a Mac computer!! I just want to thank you all for your being so encouraging and supportive of my adventure I am about to take.

Please be praying for the team and me. I'm not sure of the exact number of us going right now. But, it is right around 50 including leaders. I leave for a week of leadership training in Gainesville, Ga on Sept 3rd. Then we have training with the students from September 8th-15th. I will be flying out on Saturday, September 20th.
